Davis Bacon Housing Coalition Letter
A letter to the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Labor (DOL), urging the repeal and revision of the August 23, 2023, final rule titled “Updating the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts Regulations.” This rule increases construction costs and administrative burdens, thereby hindering the development of affordable housing.
Request for Public Input on Experiences with FEMA Disaster Responses Letter
A letter to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Review Council responds to FEMA's request for public input on disaster response experiences and offers insights from housing providers involved in disaster recovery efforts. Despite their readiness to assist, there is a lack of effective communication and coordination between FEMA and local housing providers.
Housing Affordability Act Support Letter
A letter to U.S. Senators Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) and David McCormick (R-PA) expressing strong support for S.1527, the Housing Affordability Act. The Housing Affordability Act aims to modernize the Federal Housing Administration’s (FHA) multifamily insurance programs by updating base statutory limits and adjusting the inflation index.

Update: Washington State Call to Action on Rent Control
Washington State enacted a statewide rent control law on May 7, 2025, when Governor Bob Ferguson signed House Bill 1217 into law. This legislation makes Washington the third U.S. state, after Oregon and California, to implement statewide rent stabilization measures.
Although it’s not the desired outcome, we commend the efforts of those who participated in 乐竞体育赛事直播’s call to action to stop HB 1217. 乐竞体育赛事直播 will continue to fight rent control at the state and federal levels.
